Archival Print Paper & Mounting Information

All photographs are printed on award winning Kodak Professional Endura paper. Endura papers offer state-of-the-art image keeping (100 years before fading in typical home display and 200 years dark storage under the most common storage conditions).

Each photograph is printed individually upon ordering. Please allow one to three weeks for printing and shipping depending on your order, size and mounting. All prints are borderless unless otherwise noted in the photograph`s description. Watermarks are removed. Your prints are packaged with the utmost care and shipped via UPS Ground.

You can select from three surfaces: Lustre, Glossy and Metallic.

Lustre & Glossy : Both offer excellent reproduction of skin tones with neutral flesh reproduction from highlights to shadows. Realistic color saturation and color accuracy. Brighter blues, cyans, purples, and reds. Glossy photos are printed on coated paper with a very smooth, shiny reflective surface. Glossy finishes have a high-contrast appearance and look slick to the touch when not under glass.

Lustre paper is the premier paper most preferred by portrait and wedding photographers and is considered more of a professional-grade paper. Lustre is often considered the finish between matte and glossy, and has a slight gloss with a subtle, often pearl-like texture. Lustre paper has a deeper color-saturization as well as a higher contrast.

Metallic: This paper uses a proprietary combination of film laminate layers that results in striking, three-dimensional, lasting images on an ultra-bright background. Its professional emulsion set provides extreme sharpness, brightness, and color saturation that makes images seem to jump off the page. In addition, the paper support offers enhanced durability and tear resistance.

Mounting

Traditional mounting is used by just about everyone. The print is attached to the mount board using a press and an adhesive which covers the entire back of the image. The main advantage of this type of mounting is that the print stays absolutely flat, even during temperature and humidity changes. This prevents the image from touching the glazing (glass or acrylic in front) which can damage the print. Another advantage is that it makes the print much less likely to be damaged by improper handling since the mounting board itself can be handled without even touching the print. The main disadvantage of this method for museums and some collectors is that the print can not be removed from the mount board for more compact storage.

I have chosen 1/8" hardboard masonite. This traditional mounting surface provides a heavy duty, rigid, hard and long lasting substrate. A high-end mounting surface.

Thank you and enjoy your prints!
